While scientists often simply don’t know the answers that the public and policy makers are looking for, journalists struggle with the extreme reactions to their reporting, ranging from total denial to complete hysteria. In this unique panel discussion between two global thought leaders in public health and journalism, we explore the challenges seen by reporters and researchers to provide accurate information on a little-known virus and a pandemic of historic proportions.
This online event will shed light on the collaborative efforts of scientists and journalists to support policy makers and the public in navigating the crisis.
